Ilam School of Fine Arts staff would like to invite you to ILAM 2020 Open Studio Exhibition and SELECT awards.
We’re excited about the student work and would like extend an additional invitation to our College colleagues to join us for a morning tea and studio tours on Wednesday 11 November at 10am.

Featuring works drawn exclusively from the School of Fine Arts 3rd, 4th, HONs and MFA studio-artists, ILAM 2020 is once again an astutely curated snapshot of contemporary creative developments within the school.
This year’s SELECT judge, Melanie Oliver, curator at Christchurch Art Gallery Te Puna o Waiwhetū, will review the exhibition in its final form and from it designate three artist-recipients whose work will permanently enter the University of Canterbury Art Collection.
The open studio exhibition will be accompanied by a comprehensive annual publication providing both written and visual representation of all participating student-artists.
