Dr Antonio Viselli was awarded the inaugural 2020 School of Languages, Social, and Political Sciences ‘Outstanding Service’ Award.
Dr Viselli always has a smile; he always models positive behaviour for the rest of us to follow; he always provides feedback on many issues that is kind and thoughtful; and he’s always willing to assist and join in if needed. This award is as much about kindness as it is the service that is conducted for the school. However, he also has an impressive list of service commitments:
- Worked to have an MoU signed for an exchange agreement
- Internship coordinator for their discipline
- Member of the Randell Cottage Writer in Residence jury
- Co-hosts a radio show about their teaching area
- Was on PACE Board of Studies
- Was on BA Review
- Head of their Language Programme
- Head of Masters of Applied Translation and Interpreting
- Associate Head of School, LSAP
