Congratulations to Professor Bronwyn Hayward (Professor in the Department of Political Science and International Relations and Director of The Sustainable Citizenship and Civic Imagination Research group) who has received a New Years Honour as a Member of the New Zealand Order of Merit for “services to political science, particularly sustainability, climate change and youth.”
Associate Professor Jim Tully (Adjunct in COMS and previous HoS for LSAP) received a New Years Honour as an Officer of the New Zealand Order of Merit for “for services to journalism and education.”
Associate Professor Glenda Keam, (previous HoS for School of Music) received a New Years Honour as Officer (ONZM) “for services to music and music education”.
Emeritus Professor Geoffrey Rice, (Emeritus Professor of History) received a New Years Honour as Officer (ONZM) “for services to historical research and tertiary education”.
