UC has partnered with Tourism New Zealand and ChristchurchNZ to support academics to bid for and host international conferences.
Come along to the UC Conferencing Pop up Expo, enjoy a coffee on us, listen to some short info sessions and meet the team – you’ll also have the opportunity to take a sneak peek around Te Pae (Christchurch Conference Centre) through a VR head set.
Conferences are an opportunity for our academics to showcase their knowledge and profile their sector and research. They are shown to increase citations, networking opportunities and global university rankings far beyond the conference itself.
We’ll also be at the Women’s Research Symposium during lunchtime to answer any questions you have about conferencing at UC.
