The Confucius Institute at the University of Canterbury (CIUC) is excited to welcome you in joining us as we host the 14th Chinese Bridge Chinese Proficiency Competition for Secondary School Students happening this Sunday 8th August.
This year our National Competition will take place online via Zoom. All teachers, students, family and friends are encouraged to join us in watching the event live through our CIUC Facebook stream.

The event schedule is as follows:
- 10:30am – 12:15pm is Opening and the Junior Competition
- 1:30pm – 4:10pm is the Senior Competition
