Biography: 

Mr Grzegorz Kowal was nominated as Ambassador to New Zealand on 5 November 2020.

His previous role was as director of the Asia-Pacific Department at the MFA Bureau of Control in Warsaw.

Other roles include 1st Secretary for political cooperation at the Embassy in Seoul (South Korea), where he was temporarily in charge of consular affairs as well.

Grzegorz studied international relations at the University of Warsaw. In 2009 he graduated from the political science doctoral programme.
