Royal Society Talk: Verginia and Nga Roimata – Monday 31 October, 6.30pm

Later this month Associate Professor Alison Griffith is giving a free public talk at Tūranga Central Library on ‘Verginia and Nga Roimata’. Alison will discuss the Roman legend of Verginia in parallel with the (oral) historical account of Roimata, the daughter of the Ngai Tahu chief Tamaiharanui.
