BIG CONGRATULATIONS to Lewis Fletcher, who has just received an A on his master’s thesis.
Lewis’s work looked at voice, authority and audionarratology in recent investigative podcasts, including Serial, S-Town, The Polybius Conspiracy and Dirty John.
The external examiner wrote that Lewis’s “analysis is detailed and far-reaching”, and that it was “a very strong thesis that covers a lot of ground”.
The other examiner noted that the “thesis was a pleasure to read for the subject matter, but also for strength and flow of the writing, and the way it brings together analysis and argument”.
