Spanish lecturers Victoria Escaip and Sergio Esteban Redondo were invited to participate in the Language Immersion Weekend for New Zealand language teachers organized by Future Learning Solutions (FLS) Centre for Languages on the weekend of Oct 30th to Nov 1st in Rotorua.
Victoria and Sergio presented on dance and gamification in the language classroom respectively, to a large group of Spanish language teachers from all over New Zealand.
Besides offering the theoretical frame of these teaching approaches, they organized practical activities where the participants could experience hands on the methodologies presented.
It was a very productive and fun weekend which also offered a great opportunity for networking with educators in the field of languages.
