Congratulations to UC Music student Liam Oliver who won three awards at the recent UCSA – University of Canterbury Students’ Association Blues awards, including Outstanding Contribution to University Arts!
As well as being an active member of UC Music in many different ways, Liam is Student President of the Gamelan Club, regularly performing with UC Gamelan Ensemble as well as assisting with coordinating performances, managing social media and securing a significant invite for the gamelan group to participate in an international online-gamelan festival, “Ensemble of Gamelan 2021” broadcast from Malaysia in November.
