This year’s annual Palgrave Macmillan Lecture will ask: How can the Humanities and Social Sciences contribute to the Peace Agenda?

We are delighted to announce that the keynote speaker this year will be Professor Steven Ratuva, Director of the Macmillan Brown Centre for Pacific Studies at the University of Canterbury, New Zealand.

Taking place on 21 September 8pm NZ / Singapore 4pm/ 9am BST, the free webinar will last approximately 50 minutes and will include a live Q&A with the audience.

Chaired by the Editorial Director for Politics and International Studies, Sarah Roughley, and with a talk from Vishal Daryanomel, the Senior Editor covering Peace and Conflict Studies in Oceania and Southeast Asia, this will be an unmissable event looking at the relationship between the Humanities and Social Sciences and the current international picture.
