Biography:
Mr Jérôme Pasquier is currently Chargé d’Affaires a.i. for the French Embassy in Wellington. He is a graduate of the Ecole Nationale d’Administration (ENA) Paris, Class of Human Rights.
In his long career Jérôme has held the position of Ambassador of France to Croatia (2009 – 2012), Ambassador of France in the Republic of Korea (2012 – 2015) and Ambassador of France to Nigeria (2018 – 2021). Other diplomatic roles include Special Advisor to the Secretary General at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs (2002 – 2003) and Inspector of Foreign Affairs (2015 – 2018).
The French Embassy in New Zealand represents France in NZ, Samoa and the Cook Islands.
