Arts Three Minute Thesis competition

The 2022 Arts Three Minute Thesis competition took place yesterday in James Logie 613. Thank you to the participants and to our panel of judges consisting of:

Results are:

  • 1st prize ($1000): Wendy Alabaster, PhD student in Political Science and International Relations

“The equity implications of the New Zealand fees-free policy”

  • 2nd prize ($500): Charlotte Walker, MEuro student in the National Centre for Research on Europe

“Ni Una Más, Ni Una Menos — Analysis Media Coverage of Femicide in Pandemic-Era Spain”

  • 3rd prize ($300): McKenzie McHugh-Warnock, MLing student in Linguistics

“Audience Design in New Zealand Police Shows”
