Our guest speaker this month is Senior Lecturer (and President of the PhiloLogie Society) Gary Morrison. Gary will give a short talk relating to his current research on ‘Bright Lights, Big City – Roman illumination’ and will examine several ancient lamps from the Logie Collection. Coffee and Classics is a regular morning tea for members of PhiloLogie and UC Classoc and invited guests. Each session includes a behind-the-scenes peek in the museum, examining an object or two from the collection, and the chance to enjoy a spot of coffee and cake together.
