Exciting news from the Digital Screen team! Last week, we launched our inaugural Digital Screen Speaker Series, which will provide a unique opportunity for students to engage and learn from leaders in the film, game, and creative industries.
Corban Te Aika- Corban opened the evening and series beautifully, welcoming the students and sharing about his role at UC.
Our Digital Screen Campus Director, Sam Witters, shared her professional journey of overseeing production, marketing, and distribution divisions for award-winning US studios and small independent production companies, and how she acquired her experience globally. Executive Dean of Arts, Kevin Watson, provided an update on the Digital Screen studies, followed by a Q&A session and of course, pizza!
These sessions have been specifically designed to equip and encourage students to engage with the industry early on in their academic pursuits, learn from experts in their respective fields, and gain valuable insights into potential career pathways for their future.
