Patrick O’Sullivan (Classics) received the following two awards for work on a number of teaching-related and research projects:
(i) Erskine Programme Canterbury Fellowship at the University of Oxford for three-months (Sept.-Dec. 2023).
(ii) Visiting Fellowship at University College, Oxford for three-months (Sept.-Dec. 2023).
These awards will help with progress on his contracted book on early Greek aesthetics, and articles on Roman epic, Greek lyric poetry and historiography. The Erskine Programme Fellowship, by allowing exchanges with other scholars who teach in the same fields, will benefit many areas of his teaching at UC, including courses on ancient Greek language, literature, and cultural and intellectual history.
