How well do you know Māori words? UC Professor Jeanette King has co-authored a new research study, Assessing the size of non-Māori-speakers’ active Māori lexicon. UC researchers found that most New Zealanders not only have great understanding of Māori sounds, but they also subconsciously recognise a lot of words.
