On November 14, 2023, Professor Natalia Chaban presented on the topic “Media and Conflict: The New Media Ecology and War in Ukraine” for the New Zealand International Affairs Institute (Auckland chapter) at Europe Institute in AUT. Her presentation, following the NZIAA invitation, was a part of a panel also featuring Dr Olga Dodd of AUT who talked about Ukraine’s economic development, reconstruction and investment opportunities, and Kyrylo Kutcher of Massey University who presented on the role of historical heritage in modern-day understanding of Ukraine. Professor Chaban’s presentation informs her upcoming publication with the New Zealand International Affairs Review.
