New Music Central: Aiyun Huang, Percussion & Technology : 13 May

Visiting Canterbury Fellow Aiyun Huang from the University of Toronto, Canada presents a concert with friends featuring recent works for percussion and technology. Aiyun will share new music by New York-based composer Zosha DiCastri, Toronto-based composer Kotoka Suzuki, Montreal-based composer Nicole Lizée, and Oregon-based composer David Bithell, integrating projection, lighting, recorded and live sounds to enhance the concert-going experience. The concert will end with John Cage’s Credo in Us, a classic in the repertoire.
