The English department is really happy to welcome multi-award-winning writer, columnist and editor Sarah Quigley as our first writer in residence for 2025.
Sarah is joining us on the 6th floor of Karl Popper, and while she’s here she’ll be working on a project that plays with correspondence – think postcards, short stories, reflections on time and gardening. Sarah did her MA(Hons) here at UC before completing a D.Phil in literature at Oxford. She was based in Berlin for many years before returning home to Aotearoa a couple of years ago.
