On March 3, 2025, UC Media and Communication (Professor Natalia Chaban and Dr Daria Kuznetsova), in collaboration with UC English (Professor Paul Millar) and the team of researchers from Cherkasy National University (ChNU, Ukraine), led the launch meeting of the Year 2 of international consortium researching EU-Ukraine heritage diplomacy and its securitization at times of the war. In Year 2, the UC-ChNU team collaborating within the Work Package 5 “Strategic Communication” will undertake analysis of the perspectives shared by leading strategic communicators for Ukraine in Europe and globally and design policy recommendations for the EU’s and Ukraine’s heritage diplomacy practitioners. UC early-career researchers – Mia Angeline and Francesca Harrison – have also attended the meeting.
