Christchurch Mayor Liane Dalziell awarded the Royal Society Te Apārangi’s Humanities Aronui Medal to Professor Copeland for his research on the foundations, philosophy & history of computing. His success capped an unprecedented evening of success for UC Arts, with Professor Steven Ratuva receiving the prestigious Metge medal.
