Welcome to Amanda Heatley as our new Studio Production Lead, her time at New Zealand Film Commission brings deep expertise in production delivery; Mena Sanchez driving partnerships working to Cat; and Eva Fenwick, an emerging filmmaker, joining as our admin coordinator early next month. As the South Island’s only right‑sized, end‑to‑end digital production facility, Kōawa Studios is ready to give productions everything they need in one place from purpose‑built sound stages, industry‑grade post‑production, secure backlot space, and direct access to emerging talent from our Digital Screen programme. Kōawa Studios is also very pleased to be working with Screen Canterbury to attract new screen production to Ōtautahi.
